What do you like the most about your practice area?

Practicing family law and estate planning allows me to help individuals and families in profound ways, such as protecting loved ones, safeguarding assets, and preparing for arduous life changes.

What do you think is the most essential professional skill?

Empathy.

How do you find work/life balance?

My work/life balance motto is: if the sun is up and you’re not working, get outside.

What is something you’ve always wanted to learn?

How to fly a plane.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Feed and caffeinate before interacting.

What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen in person?

Kruger National Park, South Africa.

What is the first step you take to achieve a goal?

Break it down into a small, actionable checklist.

Who is your hero and why?

My late aunt, Karen Dyer. She was a highly accomplished corporate lawyer known for her passion, skill, and wit. She is the reason I pursued a legal career, and I strive to emulate her in my professional and personal life.

What is one thing you look forward to every day?

Taking my dog on a long walk.

What is your favorite movie of all time?

American Psycho.

What is your favorite local restaurant?

Laundry Kitchen and Cocktails.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Don’t be afraid to fail. Embrace failure as a necessary part of the path to success.
