The Colorado Commission on Judicial Discipline requested that the Supreme Court adopt its recommendation, based on the parties’ stipulation for public censure and suspension, to publicly censure Judge Mark D. Thompson and to suspend him from his judicial duties without pay for 30 days. The recommendation was based on Judge Thompson’s admitted violation of Judicial Canon Rules 1.1 and 1.2.

The Court adopted the recommendation, publicly censured Judge Thompson, and suspended Judge Thompson from his judicial duties for 30 days without pay.
