Public hearing to be held on November 19, 2025, at 3:30 p.m.

The Colorado Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing on the proposed changes to Rules 242.3, 242.4, 242.5, 242.6, 242.7, 242.11, 242.12, 242.13, 242.16, 242.17, 242.19, 242.22, 242.23, 242.30, 242.31, 242.32, 242.35, 242.36, 242.41, 242.42, and 242.43 of the Rules Governing Lawyer Discipline and Disability Proceedings, Protective Appointment of Counsel, Continuing Legal and Judicial Education, Attorneys’ Fund for Client Protection, and Lawyer Assistance Programs. The hearing will be held in the Supreme Court Courtroom. Written public comments by any interested person are requested on the proposed rules. Public comments should be submitted in letter format addressed as follows: Colorado Supreme Court, 2 E. 14th Avenue, Denver, CO 80202. Public comments should be submitted by email in letter format as an attachment to the email as a Word or PDF document. Comments and speaking requests must be emailed to supremecourtrules@judicial.state.co.us. Written comments received by the deadline will be posted on the Colorado Supreme Court’s website after the comment period closes.
