People v. D’Alessandro Jr.
No. 26PDJ18. 8/3/2026. Reciprocal Discipline.
October 5, 2026
The Presiding Disciplinary Judge entered default and imposed reciprocal discipline, suspending Edward G. D’Alessandro Jr. (attorney registration number is 22255) for one year. The suspension took effect on September 8, 2026.
This reciprocal discipline case arose out of discipline imposed on D’Alessandro Jr. in New Jersey. On December 2, 2025, the Supreme Court of New Jersey entered an order, effective that same day, suspending D’Alessandro Jr. for one year. This discipline was premised on a finding that he violated New Jersey’s Rules of Professional Conduct 8.1(b) (two instances of failing to cooperate with disciplinary authorities), 8.4(b) (committing a criminal act that reflects on a lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer), and 8.4(c) (engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation).
Through this conduct, D’Alessandro Jr. engaged in conduct constituting grounds for reciprocal discipline under CRCP 242.21, which calls for imposition of the same discipline as that imposed in New Jersey.
